Lay-bey-nist-a-ree Cree-ole) Educating the Future - Remembering Our Past. Monday, October 27, 2014. Louisiana’s Bousillage Tradition. As students of Historic Architecture, Culture and Trades we must never be satisfied with unfounded assumptions. Regardless of how long these speculations have gone unchecked we simply cannot take, as fact, the presumptions of those before us without testing and building reasonable evidence to support it or to debunk it, whatever the case may be. Capturing Furniture in the Wild. LSU Rural Life Museum, Something for Every Budget. Posted by Mark B. Firley. Asymp; 3 Comments. While down in Baton Rouge, I visited the amazing LSU (Louisiana State University) Rural Life Museum. I knew nothing about the museum before my visit. I learned about this museum when a local antiques dealer mentioned that they occasionally donate a piece they acquired to the museum. That piqued my curiosity. May be a reproduction but unused. For the more affluent decedent.

Capturing Furniture in the Wild. Woodworking from the Rural Life Museum. Posted by Mark B. Firley. Asymp; 6 Comments. Seems like they must have done some woodworking there in rural Louisiana. A Place For Good News. Christ’s Temple Full Gospels Hosts Monthly Friday Night Service.
