The ScrapFan: Me @ 38
http://thescrapfan.blogspot.com/2011/07/me-38.html
Friday, July 22, 2011. So another year has crept by and I am kicking myself for missing my "mel @ 37" last year. BUT not deterred here is my "Me at 38". Apologies for dodgy camera work - cellphone had to suffice today. Think this may well have been the hardest year for me. Not in terms of dealing with kids or any external stuff. Purely dealing with myself. The real me. Whoever she is. I think my wheels started spinning a few weeks before my 38. See my other *birthday* layouts here. Linking over from Marc...

Escamilla Designs: Sprinkled with Love
http://escamilladesigns.blogspot.com/2013/01/sprinkled-with-love.html
Thursday, January 3, 2013. At the end of November, I blogged about getting reading for a Baby Sprinkle. You can read about it here. The sprinkle was a huge success! Here are some pictures:. Cute little onesies on the mantle instead of a banner. Love the elephants on them! I added a bow to the hanger. Pretty easy! I went a little crazy with the "sprinkle" theme. Love the felt raindrops embellished with heart-shaped buttons. Simple diaper cake :). Another super easy diaper cake :). Another diaper cake :).

Escamilla Designs: October 2012
http://escamilladesigns.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 27, 2012. It finally began to feel like Autumn in Texas yesterday. It just doesn't seem right to be setting out pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, and other Halloween decor, so I'm really enjoying this cold front :). October has really flown by! For me, it has been filled with a lot of projects and events. I thought I'd highlight a couple of them. Here's a picture of one that I made for a friend that couldn't attend. Another project that has been occupying my time is wreath making!

Escamilla Designs: December 2011
http://escamilladesigns.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 18, 2011. I've been meaning to make this wreath since last year, so I'm glad I finally got it done! I saw it in an idea book called Simply Handmade. The first thing I did was purchase a 12 inch foam wreath from a craft store. I painted it a dark evergreen color. In hindsight, I probably could have skipped this step because you don't see any part of the foam wreath once you've applied the paper loops. While the paint was drying, I took my two-sided scrapbook paper and cut 100 1x6 strips.
