I've started embracing the laidback mentality here. It's weird not worrying about my phone or stressing about the paper. I've already started thinking about returning home and to work and thinking about what I'll miss and not miss here. But that'll be another post :). To catch you up . Work hard and play harder has been our motto, it seems, for the past few days, which is why I haven't had time (or motivation) to post my adventures. But adventures they have been. Through the storyteller's eyes. A photoblog set up for my trip to Berlin in May 2009. Thursday, May 28, 2009. I started the trip alone, and now I'll end it alone. My flight leaves tomorrow at 7 am from Berlin and (because of time changes) will land in Atlanta at 8 pm It's going to be a crazy long day, and the waiting starts now. I'm running out of money, and I have a 7-hour layover in Paris - with nothing to do. I won't be able to take a taxi or transportation into town to see anything.

Saturday, May 30, 2009. So after a very long day of flying, I finally made it home at midnight on Thursday. After giving out all my souveniers I headed to bed. I spent most of Friday sleeping on the couch, only waking up to eat food. Oh how I love American food. But. there are too things I was going to miss, so I went to Publix to see what I could find. . Thursday, June 11, 2009. A little bit of exploring. A little bit of relaxing. A little bit of family. After a familiar breakfast of cereal, toast and hot chocolate,. Brian took me to newgrange. Newgrange is one of the three larger grave passages in ireland. It was built over 5,000 years ago. It is a mound-shaped tomb made up of stones. Historians don’t know exactly what it was intended for,. But their guess is that newgrange was a place for rituals and ceremonies or a place where they buried the dead.

It was the first time we’d been since being in europe. And it was so good. We went to the hillsong paris church,. Which was about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. To stop catching planes and trains,. And actually stay in one place for a while. But, i'm so very thankful for the opportunity. To have gone on this adventure. And i'm only 21.
