La Bella Vita: September 2011
http://evanandcourtneyepstein.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 3, 2011. Slovenia: Sunday Lunch in Ljubljana. Sunday morning we woke up, ate breakfast with the Robinsons, they got on their way, and we went swimming. This time we went to the indoor pool because it was a much cooler morning and it was drizzling. We were trying to tire the boys out before driving in the car. It worked! Evan, Courtney, Porter and Eli. August 26-28, 2011. Friday was a Family Day on base so we drove up to Slovenia to a waterpark to spend the weekend swimming and spendin...

La Bella Vita: Wildflower pics April 2013
http://evanandcourtneyepstein.blogspot.com/2013/06/wildflower-pics-april-2013.html
Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Wildflower pics April 2013. We went to Cuero for the hospital gala at the end of April. Steph and Jeff came home too so we decided to try to take wildflower pictures. We drove to the normal spots that are usually covered in flowers, even our bluebonnet spots, without any luck. It's a little late in the season and it's been so dry. We settled for a side country road. These are my favorites. Getting both of them to look at the camera and smile=not an easy feat. Tyler and Laura Smith.

La Bella Vita: Snow Day
http://evanandcourtneyepstein.blogspot.com/2013/06/snow-day.html
Wednesday, June 12, 2013. The morning of January 4, 2013, it snowed here in San Angelo. My little Italian man, Eli, was in awe. He reminds me of the Italian men who strolled all over with their hands behind their backs. The snow started late the night before and continued the next morning to give us a good layer. Ross and Janet were in town. Janet stayed with the boys while Ross, Evan, and I drove to the Cotton Bowl. We played with our trains and in the snow before we left that day. My little fearless guy.

Sunday, August 21, 2011. 738th Sagra dei Osei. August 20-21, 2011. This weekend we celebrated our final Bird Festival in Sacile- the 738th Sagra dei Osei. It didn't disappoint, the heat being the exception. We met up with the Robinson, Curtis, and Snyder families and their kiddos for an evening of birds, food, and meandering. After a lot of deliberation, this was my favorite bird. The picture doesn't do it justice. The colors were so vibrant and I loved the purple. We took in every moment possible. The n...

Wednesday, May 16, 2012. May 16, 2012. I could not have been more wrong. He was a little timid at first about the chair and the cape, but Christina moves slowly and talks and doesn't rush into the cut. He sat in the chair the entire time looking around, sucking on his pacifier, and playing with the brushes. First cut. It was his teeny little curl in the back. Evan, Courtney, Porter and Eli. Farewell: The Henning Family. May 10-11, 2012. Playing with Mrs. Linda. This is very Porter-like. So observant.

Sunday, April 8, 2012. We hunted eggs last weekend with friends and since Evan got back last night from Alabama- I was a little lacking on Easter treats this year. We just enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and in the midst of getting ready for church, Evan gave the boys their gifts from his trip. He mentioned they should have gone in their empty baskets that are sitting on the table. What a great idea! Evan, Courtney, Porter and Eli. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Egg Hunt with Friends. La Bella Vita: December 2011

Tuesday, December 13, 2011. The Watson family hosted the JAG Christmas party again this year and we made it this time around. Last year it was on the day we got back from the states. It was a fun evening of food and presents with the white elephant gift exchange. Deb was the best hostess! This was Eli's first time drawing. Mrs. Linda was very patient and brave to hold a 1.5 year old with a marker dodging this way and that way. Evan, Courtney, Porter and Eli. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Caroline and emily...

La Bella Vita: March 2012

Friday, March 30, 2012. Porter got his first haircut. It has been a long time coming and I finally bit the bullet and took him in. The cute curls turned to curly cues then turned to long straggly curls then just turned straggly. When it was curly it was cute and when it was frizzy it was Frizzy! I dropped Eli off with Evan and Porter sat with me while we waited our turn at the barber shop on base. Evan, Courtney, Porter and Eli. Evan, Courtney, Porter and Eli. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). La Bella Vita: November 2011

Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Life in the Air Force was going to be different. Never in my life could I imagine that this is where I would be. I couldn't think of a better to be thankful on Thanksgiving than to share yummy pumpkin soup with everyone else. Thanksgiving morning we were up bright and early to get on the road to Garmisch. We dressed Porter and Eli in their Aggie gear in honor of the "final" A&M-UT football game. Porter and Eli with each of their vices: thumb and paci. Great, take a jar and l...

La Bella Vita: January 2012

Monday, January 9, 2012. Evan's Week with the Boys. We started the New Year off with a sick Eli. When Eli is sick, he doesn't want to do anything. He will sit in your lap for hours and barely turn his little head. Sad little guy. Porter on the other hand was a barrel of energy! Evan went running a few of the days he was off. When he got home, he "worked out" with the boys: push ups with extra weight, BOSU crunches with twins, double-weighted bicep curls. The little guys loved all of it! The Robinsons gre...
