We did do some fun things, not as many as we usually do though! We only got to go to the swimming pool three times the entire summer. The kids and I went to Aggie Ice Cream, I asked for the kid sizes.their cones were huge. It has been a hot summer! Dan, Marsha, Brodyn, Emmy, Sophia and Hudson. Friday, September 27, 2013. Every fall we walk the 1/2 mile to Grandma Thatcher's house and look for monarch caterpillars. The last two years we weren't able to find a single caterpillar. This year the mother-load was deposited all over our milky weed! We found one caterpillar after another. We came home with about a dozen little caterpillars. What a beautiful and amazing butterfly the monarch is! We had so much fun watching them through their cycle! Dear Ben...
