At Yellow Lake and Other Places: Happy Brave New Year
http://janemcloughlin.blogspot.com/2013/12/happy-brave-new-year.html
At Yellow Lake and Other Places. A blog by children's writer Jane McLoughlin. At Yellow Lake Reviews. Tuesday, 31 December 2013. Happy Brave New Year. It's been a quiet time on the blog, what preparations for the holidays, trying to forge ahead with a new work-in-progress, and batting away the agents of creative despair and self-doubt that have been winging their way to me with alarming regularity. But on the outside, I'll be all "Yes, of course! And no one will know that my "inner marshmallow" is quiver...

FEELING FOREIGN: A writer's life in Colombia: Ahhh ... The New Year Post ...
http://heidiayarbe.blogspot.com/2015/01/ahhh-new-year-post.html
Thursday, January 1, 2015. Ahhh The New Year Post . With its utter lack of creativity. Everything feels so derivative. Everybody's gung-ho, ready to make changes, ready to take tap dancing lessons, learn a new language, travel more, eat less, start a new page of a new book, try chapulines. Grow a beard, and be better, stronger, prettier, more handsome, more educated, more cultured, more of the good, less of the bad . And I don't have much to add to the pot. And am so happy with my swimming lessons.).

FEELING FOREIGN: A writer's life in Colombia: Rant: Ramona Geraldine Quimby and Farenheit 451
http://heidiayarbe.blogspot.com/2010/09/rant-ramona-geraldine-quimby-and.html

So when my parents took us to see Farenheit 451 - it was being shown at the Community College ...
