Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Things I've Learned from listening. 1 Skein of Patons Classic Wool (I got 3 out of one skein). Darning needle for sewing the one seam shut. Gauge isn't a big issue, although you don't want to go loose, tighter is better. Set up row: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch to end of row. Turn work so that the bottom of the ch is facing up. Patons Grace (small amount, I've made two pairs so far and haven't really made a dent into the skein). Size C (2.75mm) crochet hook. 2 Fish hook earrings findings. String 1 earring finding on to the yarn. Rnd 1: Ch 4 (this forms the first ch and first dc), 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, (ch 3, 3 dc in 1st ch) repeat 2 more times, ch 1, sl to join to top of first dc).

It's not the one for the hat and scarf set that I promised almost two weeks ago, but it's a pattern none the less. 2 skiens of Panda Cotton, color Red Cinnamon. US 2 set of 5 dpns (2.75mm). Yarn needle for grafting toe together, and weaving in ends. 28sts = 4 inches. 44 rows = 4 inches. Cast on 64 sts. Evenly divide among 4 needles (16sts on each). Rnd 1: *K2, P2* repeat around.
