Whatever is right, noble, true, pure, lovely, admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think on these things {phil. 4:8}. March 16, 2015. Went for a run with my girl Willa. Beautiful day and much needed run to clear my head. Still not in good place with M, I slept in the loft and like a good girl, miss willa slept right with me. At least she cuddles with me. My legs are sore from 2 days running outside, but at least I’m that much closer to my strong, healthy self. March 12, 2015. Even though y...

Current and completed projects, tips and tricks, and useful tools from visually impaired crocheters. Crochet Project: Lots of Dots Blanket. Posted by L 2. Saturday, October 26, 2013. My Lots of Dots project, started at the end of December 2012, is finally finished! For this blanket, I used a size F crochet hook, this Circles to Squares afghan pattern. As several people recommended, I worked an extra round of single crochet stitching (working in back loops only) in brown around each circle’s edge be...

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. I know this blog has been quiet for quite awhile. I am happy to announce that my new pattern has been published in Interweave Crochet Spring 2010. I am excited that it is finally out and I can share this. I wanted to create visual interest in Tunisian entrelac, so the alternate rows are negative space. I love that it is all done in one continuous piece so that there are only two ends to weave in. Enjoy. Monday, May 4, 2009. Monday, March 16, 2009. March is National Crochet Month.

The Crocheting Comrade
Monday, July 14, 2008. I know it's been a while, but with school and everything I've been pretty busy. I've crocheted some stuff, but really nothing to post about. This is a kitten I made for my cousin Sasha upon request. The link to the pattern is here. I sort of had trouble sewing the eyes, I don't have any buttons here (I'm in Moscow for the summer) and while I'm sure I can buy some somewhere, I've been trying to get better at sewing. Over all it was a pretty easy pattern, I recommend it. I guess I ha...
