After looking at a few patterns and pictures of crocheted covered jars, I simply designed my own patterns. I used a fine cotton thread with a 2.2 crochet hook for my first jars but it seemed to take forever to finish. So, I doubled the thread, used a 3.5 hook and finished a whole set of 5 jars.
