I've been working on doilies lately. This blue one is about 2 foot across, and I used size 5 thread, 2.75mm hook. It's hard getting used to the small thread and smaller hooks coming from 12 years of yarn, lol. But this came out very nice! This last one is my own creation. Daring huh? Monday, September 30, 2013.

Tuesday, June 17, 2008. Day 13 and all gone:(. This was the one baby left in the nest at 5:30am this morning, and below at 10am all that was left is a pile of poop. Monday, June 16, 2008. 12 days old.and only 1 left:(. Baby #1 left the nest this morning, is down on the ground under some bushes now. This pic is baby #2, last second in the nest before it flew out onto a branch near the nest. Here is #3.who seems to not have a care in the world except having the nest all to himself now! Friday, June 7, 2013. Last week I spotted a beautiful groundhog out in my driveway. I grabbed the camera and upon taking the pictures, I noticed this was obviously a very "pregnant" groundhog! So you're thinking, okay, why is this such a big deal right? She reemerged from her comfy home yesterday morning to roam around. Guess what? Yep, you've got it! She's a lot smaller and has obviously had her babies now! Now look a little bit closer. And now as she stands up. Notice the evidence of nursing babies?
