I made this yesterday and it was a hit! I'm getting the recipe from "Healthy Crockery Cookery" by Mable Hoffman. To reduce fat, remove and discard the skin from the chicken before cooking. Makes about 6 servings. 2 1/2 to 3 pounds chicken pieces (I used a little more than 2 1/2 lbs of boneless, skinless breasts). 1 (8 oz) can whole-berry cranberry sauce. 2 TBS orange juice. 1 tsp grated orange peel (I did not use an orange peel at all). 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg. 1 TBS sweet-hot mustard. 3 TBS cold water.

To Old to be a fangirl, but oh well! To Old to be a fangirl, but oh well! Is it okay to put a roast in a crockpot the night before and let it cook all night? I got to work at 9:00 am and I get home at 4:00 pm but if I stick it in from a Frozen State is it okay, to do that, and then put it in the night before I want to eat it, or should I wait until the morning of the day I want to eat it, around 8:00 am,if I do that, should it be thawed out?
