Jackie Butler was born March 16, 1919 in Minersville, Pennsylvania, grew up in Woodstock, Vermont, and lived most of the rest of her life in Cromwell, Connecticut. She was a gifted portrait artist, although she never pursued her craft professionally. For over 50 years she enjoyed drawing family members. Whose faces she found personally interesting. Jackie Butler passed away on July 17, 1998 at her home in Cromwell. Click here for information on The Jacqueline Williams Butler Scholarship.

SBButler Letters 1916 to 1920. Of Cromwell, CT, moved to Pleasantville NJ to work as a high school teacher. He wrote home regularly each week after moving. Butler family home page. 93, long time resident of Cromwell, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, March 11, 2014 with two of his sons by his side. He was born August 25, 1920, in Terryville to the late Sylvester B. Butler and Eva Lutz Butler. Sewall was predeceased by his wife, Jackie. A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 16 (His wife's birthday) at the Church of the Holy Trinity, with a reception to follow. His ashes were buried May 24th in the a family plot at the Hillside Graveyard in Cromwell.
