My first scuba diving class was the day after testing at the Cleveland Clinic. My second class I was coming off of sedatives from a colonoscopy the day before at CC. The boat was loaded, I grabbed my leftover quesadilla from the night before and ate it in the car on the way to the put in. Mike and Tambra were waiting for us in Kennerdell. Here's to getting outside no matter what the weather does. Here's to standing at the base of a roaring waterfall in spring.

When we got to Dennison Run, there was a clearing for a fire pit. I took a step, and one of the bugs caught my eye. I knelt down to see it was one of the tiny frogs that we often see out here. This thing was smaller than I remembered. It could fit on my pinky finger nail and not touch the cuticles. If tomorrow all the things were gone. I worked for all my life.
