Cross Church envisions music that is God-centered, gospel-driven, cross-generationally sensitive while young-adult connected, more engaging than entertaining, and more participatory than performance. Graduating from High School in Scarborough Maine (1989), Dr. Werner attended the University of Maine (1989-1991) and earned a B.S. in Biology from Liberty University (1994). Later, he attended Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, and earned a M.Div. (2002), and a Ph.D. (2007). Dr Werner is also a commercial lobsterman, operating the F/V Kathryn Ann when not preparing sermons and ministering to people. An Argument from Morality. Questions about Faith and Reason. Showing signs of gospel growth but still very fragile, there are over a dozen churches in varying stages of the planting cycle here in Maine. Made up of dedicated servants of God, the leaders of these churches are working hard to penetrate their communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Scheduled to plant 2015.
