A little adventure with Brad and Craig one Monday afternoon took me to another Portland park, Hoyt Arboretum. Where we went to enjoy the unseasonable sunshine and the autumn foliage of hundreds of tree species from around the world. Sunday, April 24, 2011. A Mother of all Storms. This past week, my BFF riding buddy, Mike Jarvis, and I set out on a trip down to Lake Powell from Salt Lake City. We left on Wednesday, with the temps in the 30's, and upon arriving at Lake Powell, it had warmed up to 80. The next day we left for home.
