Just another WordPress.com weblog. I decided to start On-Ramp in October of 2009 at College Station CrossFit and am still there now. I made many friends and have learned countless amounts of information about fitness, health and nutrition. I started CrossFit unable to run a mile and I now have run up to 8 miles! Always Prepared. Never Scared. Saturday, July 24, 2010. 3 Rounds For time:. 21 Overhead Squats @ 95lbs. After 6 minutes I had completed 2 Rounds and 25 Pushups. Rest 30 Seconds Then:. 30 Toes To Bar. 30 Ground to Overhead @ 95lbs. After 6 minutes I had completed 1 Round and 15 TTB. I felt strong on the overhead squats, but the second workout got me. Going paleo without the meat. Saturday, September 17, 2011. This is what I made today! Snacks- fruit samples at farmer's market, pluot, strawberries, macadamia nuts, dates. Made a quick trip to the farmer's market in the morning to pick up a week's worth of produce. My hands were so full with so much food that I dropped my strawberries. :( Luckily they were wrapped up in a plastic bag, but many of them got smushed that I had to eat them as soon as I got home. Going paleo without the meat. Sunday, October 9, 2011. I hope I caught your attention! Last week, Forrest (at the gym) asked me if I noticed anything different since ending Whole30 and going back to eating some "normal" foods. I said no, not really, but carbs make me sleepy and cranky. He asked, "What about your skin or hair? Nope, no changes with skin and hair," I replied. I start breaking out like I did in high school again. Ahhhh! Is this a sign? Sunday, October 2, 2011.
