Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Yahoo - we finally got out on the water over the long weekend! Our last sail was in September last year so it took a while for our sea legs to come out of hiding, but we had a great time. The best part was introducing the pooch to sailing and she looked SO cute in her little lifejacket! We had some more problems with the motor on our return trip and Jeff thinks it may be the heat exchanger AGAIN :-( Fingers crossed it doesn't cost as much to fix this time (famous last words aye!

Saturday, May 2, 2009. Long time, no sail. Well it has been a hell of a long time since we have updated this site and with good reason. It has been a hell of a long time since we last sailed! We had Catana cyclone proofed during the wet season up here and after a really good clean up a couple of weeks ago (it is AMAZING how the mould spreads up here) we are all ready to get the boat out again. We've finally tailored it to our tastes and food restrictions. It's nice and light and honestly I could just drink the broth and be happy. To make 6 or so servings you need:. 6 cups broth,. 1 stalk lemongrass bruised and chopped into 2" pieces. 3 kaffir lime leaves, torn. 4" ginger peeled and sliced. 1/2 onion, sliced. 1 T siracha or red curry.
