Thursday, October 20, 2011. The State Fair of Texas. We took Landon to the State Fair of Texas this past weekend. He loved, loved, loved the Midway! He could've spent the entire day hopping from one ride to the next. Little does he know that each ride was at least 8 coupons, which was $4! He wasn't quite tall enough for several of the rides he wanted to do, but maybe he'll be ready next year. After seeing his love for the rides (and no fear), Bo and I want to take him to Six Flags. A cute dog show we saw.

Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Participated in the Hero Rush this past weekend. And so did several other Frisco Firefighters. Bo does not run. This was a 5K obstacle course. Did I mention Bo does not run? Fortunately, he's in good shape and plays tons of racquetball, so he finished in a respectful time. They had a blast and want to make this a regular event. Landon and Ellis ran the Mini Hero Rush! The kids got to spray their dads as they finished, which was super fun! They were so proud of those medals.
