She shared her homemade lunch with me - quinoa, turkey, and garbanzo beans. While she makes hers slightly different, I liked it so much, I came up with my own version. It's hearty, filling, but not heavy. Try it alone or with some sauteed whole wheat naan. Yummy! 1-2 yellow onions, chopped. 3-5 garlic cloves, chopped. 1 pound ground turkey. 1 can lite coconut milk.

Naturally my thoughts turn to cool weather food. Beef stew was what we decided on. Beef and Guinness Stew. 1 1/2 lb. beef, cut into bite size pieces (I had London Broil that I cut up, but you can use stew meat from grocery store). 2 tsp canola oil. 1 bottle Guinness beer. 1 tsp dried rosemary. 2 tsp cold water.
