Sunday, June 28, 2015. Our little monster turns 1. Megan doesn't actually turn 1 until July 4th, but we got some celebrating done yesterday before we go on vacation. Annie suggested monster cupcakes for our little monster. I thought it was appropriate, and went with the patriotic colors, since she's our Freedom Baby. :). Wednesday, July 22, 2015. The night before the dress rehearsal for the water show she was so nervous, but it turned out to be a lot of fun for her. All summer she has been swimming with 2 other girls on her team, but at the dress rehearsal all the girls in all the teams got to learn a routine together. Here's Rachel's team's routine:. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. We went to visit my brother, Todd, and his family in Kirkland, Washington, near Seattle, for a fun summer vacation. We had a blast. Are these actually used ever? I've never seen one in use except on the recent Willy Wonka movie. Megan did pretty well on the flight, though she didn't fall asleep like I'd hoped. Jacob held her most of the flight. And the other kids watched a couple of movies. I love technology on airplanes, road trips, and at the doctor's office. :). They sure cram...

Friday, August 8, 2014. On Sunday Megan was blessed at church. Cari came down to attend and helped Ryan get ready before church. Grandpa pants are so in these days. ;). Sunday, February 15, 2015. Megan became mobile this past month and with her new-found freedom she's free to explore. She discovered the curtains for the back door and absolutely loved them. She does this all the time, both at the back door and at the curtains hanging in her room instead of closet doors. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. The rest of the year. We took it easy the day after Christmas, staying at home in our pjs most of the day. Having a few days to sit around not doing anything has really made for a nice, relaxing vacation. We went and hung out with cousins at Grandma and Grandpa's house over the weekend, then Sunday Todd and Savannah's family came to our house for a 2 night slumber party. Sunday, April 12, 2015. Community Fair and other adventures. Most weekends we get together at my parents' house for a family dinner either Saturday or Sunday. Peyton and Ryan are best bud cousins. Last week they shared a table. Rachel had decorated it with a flower, so with the towel for a tablecloth and the vase and flower it looked like a fancy dinner date. :). Megan rediscovered the tunnel. She loves it. Ryan and his cars. Climbing, climbing, climbing. I guess it's goose-egg season in our house...
