http://howlingnsilence.blogspot.com/2011/11/day-nine-of-nano.html
Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Day Nine of NaNo. So, yesterday and today I got some writing done. Not a humongous amount, but I'm pleased with it. Tonight, before I sleep, I will ask Lir to show me more. That's what I do. Then the next day I have things lined up. It works for me. Here's an excerpt from today's writing:. And for that matter, where was she? She tried to shake her head to clear it, but moaned at the racking pain that movement sent through her whole body. She settled back and tried to thin...

http://howlingnsilence.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 23, 2011. And that means NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). *big apprehensive sigh* My history with this endeavor is disappointing, to say the least. November of 2009 saw me in hospital for gallbladder surgery. November 2010 saw me in hospital for an angiogram. Needless to say, not much writing got done. So There it begins. Now, November, you ain't gonna get a part of me this year! Nope I will triumph! Saturday, October 22, 2011. My rating: 5 of 5 stars. Excellent anecdotal account...

View From the Fairway. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Does anybody remember laughter? Life, as we have come to know it, is serious. Considering what the average life span is, for a very short time in our lives, we are children. We are carefree. Sprites. Full of energetic mischief, creativity and mayhem. We play. We act. We scheme! Although we don't really know what that word means. We run. We explore. We hide. and we seek. We are fearless, for the most part. And.we laugh! Fill in favourite swear words here) I...

When I logged on to blogger for the first time since the Christmas Holidays, I was half expecting those who had signed on as followers would have long vacated this sorry site. But lo and behold, there you all were (are), exactly as I left so long ago. Hmmm! Nice to see you friend! Sorry to hear about your knee. :(. The word verification is press! Glad you did. ♥. My notes and thoughts on the journey from where I am now into the rest of my life. Friday, January 11, 2013. Well, long time.let's see. Met a girl. Fell in love. Bought a house. 2 years in renos (almost done! Spent a lot of time thinking. The online and to the world part was great, but in the end I am very private with certain parts of my life, and for good or for bad, needed to retreat and privately deal with those pieces. Most of the gear I would need I was able to fit into the panniers or saddle bags on my bike. The rest, clothing and other odds and sods were carried by me in my backpack. Without weighing it, I woul...Fortu...

View From the Fairway. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Goodbye 2009.Hello 2010. Well, I'm ringing out the old year somewhat under the weather. My nose is running like Niagara Falls. I have a concussion from the sneezing. My body aches all over, my head is pounding and even my eyes hurt! The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation. A second option is to sponsor a child from one of these countries in need. Hopefully, whereby the money is more focused on the individual child. Decisions, decisions. Daisy, with th...
