Aug 29, 2013. Into the Pacific for some wave shots. This evening shot is of Frank Island from South Chesterman. August's, relatively, warm temperatures, make hanging out in the Pacific surf tolerable. My wetsuit helped as well. I do have water resist armor on my gear but even then the unpredictability of waves keeps you on your toes. The camera was about 6 inches off the surface of the water to give a ocean's perspective. May 20, 2012. Clayoquot and Pacific Rim National Park. Crow's Nest is off to play on the West Coast for 9 days. Research and relaxation with the family. Hope all our Canadian friends have a safe and happy long weekend! May 16, 2012. I hiked the granite bluffs North of Lynch Creek as my neighbors had told me about the beautiful views of the Granby Valley. The details up there were stunning! Crows Nest Pistol Club. Located only a few. North of the township of Crows Nest, the Crows Nest Pistol Club is set on the side of a hill overlooking a scenic valley. Initially formed in 1984 as the Rosalie Pistol Club, shoots were held on the Army Range at Cabarlah. The club moved to its present site in 1987.
