Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Thanks again for all of your prayers! Jeff, Lauren, Graham and Miles. Miles Thomas was born Monday, 12/29/08 @ 1358 EST. He is 8 weeks early and weighed in at 4 lbs 6 oz. He was 43 cm long (about 17"). Has a head full of red hair and looks just like Graham! He's currently in the NICU. On Saturday, we headed out for a Walmart. Run, after I took my meds. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Guess who's graduating out of his isolette? Miles continues to do well! He was having an increased number of bradycardic episodes and his oxygen sats were dipping to 89%, so they have given him his oxygen back. He's only on 25%, and you and I breathe 21%.the little stinker just wants that extra little sniff! I guess I can't blame him - he's still supposed to be cooking for another 6 weeks. He's accomplished a lot in the last 2 weeks! He is on his way out of the isolette!

Miles had a wonderful day and it looked like he would be coming home this weekend! He came off of his oxygen, was breastfeeding wonderfully, and had lots and lots of alert time. There is so much to fill you in on - Graham is walking, running, talking non stop, growing teeth, and LOVING the pool! I'll have to upload some more recent pics at another time - but for now I'm just THRILLED that I have a password and a username again! Praise God for small miracles! Monday, September 29, 2008. The verdict is in. Miles Thomas should make his debut in February! We are very excited! He wasn't shy at showing us his male parts but he was NOT going to let us get a profile picture! He is measuring right on schedule - and the midwife told me that "he's going to be a tall one! Thankfully we will be able to use Graham's clothes (praying that we won't need his preemie outfits though! Apart and I pray that they are able to share that special bond that Linz. Pictures are up now!

Monday, October 6, 2008. We enjoy going to Disney on the weekends. Sometimes we will stop at a nearby gas station for a coke or a snack. Sunday, January 18, 2009. A light at the end of the tunnel? Just a quick update before I head back to the hospital. (We get kicked out from 7-8 AM and PM for shift change). Miles is doing VERY well! What a difference 48 hours can make! 48 hours ago, he was sluggish, lethargic, and just interested in sleeping; now, he is vigorous with his feeds, pulling his oxygen and feeding tube out, and waking up 30 minutes early for his feeds! Just goes to show the power of prayer! That's what we like to hear! A funny...

Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Well the past few weeks have gone pretty quickly! Surgery went extremely well and now we're onto the road of recovery. Staples come out on Thursday and PT will start next week. I'm ready to get the ball rolling and be back at 100% but I don't want to over do it at the same time. Mr Graham man is getting so big! I wish I could be 1/2 as happy as he is whenever he wakes up! Let's see - Graham is now faster than a speeding bullet! He has discovered the outdoors and is a HUGE fan!

Tuesday, February 17, 2009. We are family (and we're all under one roof! Well, I apologize *once again* for the lack of updates. But, WE ARE HOME! We've been home, as a family of four, for 3 weeks now.and I couldn't be happier! I could be more rested, but that's ok. Miles is doing well. He came home on a heart monitor (which is another post in itself! And is doing great! So we were referred to a new doc whom we LOVE! She is such a sweetheart, and Miles has captured her heart! He gained 4oz in 6 days!
