The View From Over The Handlebars: February 2010
http://thescooterchronicles.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
The View From Over The Handlebars. A tale of my two-wheeled (mis)-adventures. Saturday, February 27, 2010. 3000 Mile Service and Issaquah, Washington. I was told the service would take about an hour, so I took the opportunity to walk around Issaquah. With my camera. Right next to I-90 Motorsports. Is a drive-in restaurant that serves up burgers 1950's style, with a lot of music and motorsports. I call this "getting your ducks in a row":. By the time I get back, my Triumph is ready, with new oil but they ...

The View From Over The Handlebars. A tale of my two-wheeled (mis)-adventures. Sunday, March 28, 2010. 2009 Triumph Bonneville America - 3500 Mile Report. Actually, a little over 3500 miles. With the mild weather I have been able to get more riding time than I could have imagined. I thought it would be a good time to post my observations on my Triumph Bonneville America. Gear, the America never feels buzzy. Gas Mileage - I get from the low to mid 40's on the America, with a mix of street and freeway riding.

Musings of an Intrepid Commuter: Comfort Zone Cages
http://intrepidcommuter.blogspot.com/2013/11/comfort-zone-cages.html
Musings of an Intrepid Commuter. Life and Laughs from a Road Warrior by Dan Bateman. Thursday, November 07, 2013. Sometimes comfort zones can be good things and other times they can become cages. In the course of writing this blog I've tried to be honest about my own humanity. In that vein I have to admit that I've felt that feeling of not wanting to let go. Here's an example. I'm in a small upstairs gym at an athletic club. One question is repeatedly bouncing around inside my head. Katie was looking me ...

TKD Road Warrior: Looking toward the future
http://tkdwarrior.blogspot.com/2013/12/looking-toward-future.html
Ramblings, quips, visions, and views from my walk in this chaotic life. Thursday, December 26, 2013. Looking toward the future. I am on the precipice of a new year while slowly letting go of the past. I see the obstacles before me and feel the weight of the chains that bind my soul from grasping the very essence of life. I want to step from my comfort zone and find that which evades me. 2014 shall be a year of change and accomplishments in this brief existence. Watch and see that which is to be. Image: F...

Singing to Jeffrey's Tune: August 2014
http://www.jeffreystune.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Singing to Jeffrey's Tune. Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Removing toxic, negative thoughts, people, and habits. I am not sure how I figured it out, whether it was epiphany like a bolt of lightening or a slow realization like water wearing away at a rock, but I realized that I was overly negative about everything in the world. And being that negative was keeping me from getting what I wanted. How negative was I? Why would one do that? So what do you do? Sounds simple, right? It is really. Its got trials...

Singing to Jeffrey's Tune: March 2013

Singing to Jeffrey's Tune. Friday, March 8, 2013. Just when you forgive, the hypocrite doesn't disappoint. Well, over the years, I had thought about how I accused him of that, and eventually began to feel sorry for the guy. Perhaps I was wrong. And if even if I wasn't wrong, I decided I would forgive him. I didn't say anything on the phone, but I should have. That is the one regret. I said I met up with him when he was down and what he was up too (he's not actually doing all that well). Singing to Jeffrey's Tune: August 2011
http://www.jeffreystune.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Singing to Jeffrey's Tune. Sunday, August 7, 2011. The Lost Coconut Tree and a Bee. This Sunday morning after breakfast I decided to weed the "weed patch". Everyone of our plants was absolutely filled with them. Mind you we have about 20 potted plants. Our new lawn guy (I used to be the old lawn guy) doesn't take care of them, nor does the flower beds and I let them get away from me. Where the letters go up the coconut tree. See the connection? Singing to Jeffrey's Tune: My personal guide to an attitude shift
http://www.jeffreystune.com/2009/01/my-personal-guide-to-attitude-shift.html
Singing to Jeffrey's Tune. Thursday, January 15, 2009. My personal guide to an attitude shift. They say nothing in life is free except a little bad advice. That said, a friend of mine asked about my recent shift in thinking (I can tell you it is a direct influence from my recent schooling). That said, here are the highlights I gave to my buddy:. The Four Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferris. Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman. Getting things Done by David Allen. Tribes by Seth Godin. 4 “Catastrop...

Singing to Jeffrey's Tune. Friday, August 1, 2014. Lifestyle Entrepreneur-ing at Kinetic Thoughts. This post is about some of my journey to become a life style entrepreneur at Kinetic Thoughts LLC. My company that focused on technology). I was told early on, that my company had no focus and people could not figure out what it was doing. I was miffed and kept struggling on. It turns out they were right. I should have read the book E-myth. So I finally shifted gears for Kinetic Thoughts. That said, one of ...

Singing to Jeffrey's Tune: February 2015
http://www.jeffreystune.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Singing to Jeffrey's Tune. Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Thought of the day: I've been attempting to find that balance to make my client's and my startups successful. It's not easy. I've failed many, many, many things. I've spread myself too thin. I've spent too much time on social media. I have taken too many different projects at the same time. I have missed sizings. I've had to fit my own brain wiring and nature. I've mis-managed my own company to a degree. And I don't care if you care. Epredator's bl...
