Since I added too much vinegar you can't taste a lot of dill but I will probably add more dill weed or a combination of dill weed and dill seed to get more of a dill flavor anyway. The Simancek Family and Food. Monday, August 11, 2014. Another Weekend Cooking Day. After spending most of Saturday at the OC Fair eating fatty food like garlic french fries, curly fries, and deep fried Oreos. It was nice to have a good protein like DBQ Pulled Pork. (Yep, DBQ not BBQ because my son created base for the sauce. My hubby added to it. All I can say is YUM! I got my veggies by finishing off the celery with fermented zucchini dip (which tastes like hummus and is not gross at all).

The cheese tray I put together. from the top clockwise brie with cranberry sauce (which I made for the very first time) and toasted hazelnuts then Pecorino Romano with honey and roasted almonds and finally white cheddar with Genoa salami and toasted walnuts. The appetizer table. Great spread! Carving the turkey and setting up the buffet style dinner. I didn't get a picture of the desserts. Hey! I was too busy eating the yummy cheesecake!
