Crumbs in a Whistle

Crumbs in a Whistle. Saturday, June 24, 2006. She could not look at herself. Inside the polka-dot prom. Dress made of Wonder Bread. Bags sewn together with rainbow. Threads. She could not. See the color of her hair she gave away. In ribboned bunches- party. Favors. She could not see the fiesta. Guffaw inside her. She could not wince. At the aqua shoes swimming below. Crumbs in a Whistle. Saturday, June 24, 2006. The shoe- fathoms wide-. A nighttime swimming hole. For us to tread-. Our foot walks wide. Together now- a sole. To hold on well-. To hold on well. Crumbs in a Whistle. Thursday, June 22, 2006. I could not call you home,. I could not break a brittle treble,. I could not tune a bone to rattle,. I could not even keen air from air. Drink to us alone. I could not taste a sharp or toy. With a dented tin note,. Kick it around in bent song. I could not send. The children running or even. Startle a worm drugged. With both heads I could not. To blow and blow you home. Too many crumbs in my whistle. Posted by Amy Semmes @ 4:33 PM. Crumbs in a Whistle.

Crumbs Homemade

Thursday, January 23, 2014. Growing papayas is easy and very rewarding. But it helps if you live in a warm climate all year around, like in Barbados. Plant some small black seeds from the pulp of a sweet papaya in a small container with potting mix, spacing them out evenly in the pot to give them enough room to grow. In about a week, they will start to germinate, and plant growth is fairly rapid once the seedlings get enough light and water. Once picked semi-green, they take about 1-3 days to fully ripen.

Crumbs in my belly button. Writer / artist / deliciously messy / imperfectly perfect woman. 24 Grateful for One Step Back. A little entry today as words seem kinda flat. This day has been slow and uncomfortable and I feel like this year might be 2016 all over again, like history is repeating! That is my gratitude right there, reading what I’ve just written and not wanting to fuel the woe-is-me tone anymore. Journalling really does help! Yes today has been slow but that doesn’t mean tomorrow will be...
