Wednesday, April 19, 2006. GOLF How I hate it so. Well I started taking up golf about 2 years ago. Boy what a tough sport. By far the toughest sport I have ever played. When I started I was horrible scoring in the upper 90's. I play with a good friend who is about a 3 handicap. ( which is awesome). But I cant wait until friday so I can play again. Thursday, July 27, 2006. What's the deal with women and packing. Now I do have a confession to make. I sprung a trip on my wife at the last minute to Tennessee. But it's amazing how much stuff she needs to pack. I wont even talk about the shoes and her clothes. It's amazing how women need so many things when you leave town, but never use those things when you home. Anyhow Im not complaining I'm looking forward to a wonderful weekend with the wife and kids. So I got this 1973 Transporter from a friend that did not have time to take care of it anymore. This a intended to be a journal of my work on it and notes on what worked or did not work. The goal is to get it running reliably and have it usable for trips of under 2 hours where a covered bed is useful. Mostly this is Road Atlanta about an hour away. Matt owned the bus from 1999 to 2013. Some time before that it was used to wrangle cattle in Mexico. The engine is a pancake 1700 with a Weber on it.
