And I'm done with the book! This book that has been waiting around inside my mind for almost two years is finally down on paper! On here yet, so here they are. I tried to put them all next to each other, but they won't exactly fit. Anyway.). During NaNo, I wrote a total of 28,771. A local radio station. I can't remember ...

Thursday, February 26, 2015. After seeing a few bloggers participate in it, I decided to join the Beautiful People linkup. It is a set of questions several bloggers answer about their books or works-in-progress and share it with the readers of their blog. I thought it looked fun and that you, readers, might enjoy the peek into the story I am currently writing. This edition of Beautiful people is the Valentine's edition, focusing on a couple. I chose to focus on my couple, Penn and Emma. Penn is slightly ...

To Be A Person. Inspirational Lifestyle, Literature and Entertainment. Published on July 22, 2015. Book Review Half-blood by Jaye L. Knight (Ilyon Chronicles, Prequel). Written by Miranda A. Uyeh. It’s a tour stop! The gasps and murmuring grew. Though some were hardly more than whispers, clear words reached Jace’s ears dangerous, monster, animal, soulless. He tried to back away from their accusing eyes, but the collar pulled hard against his throat and held him in place. Half-blood opens the eyes of read...

Monthly Highlights - February. Saturday, February 28, 2015. I was the only one in my family who escaped the dreaded stomach flu. (And I realize that this isn't a highlight for the rest of my family members, but it's a highlight for me. xD). I like to doodle. Or zentangle, whatever you might call it. And I got new pens for that! Thank you to my grandparents for the Christmas money so I could get them. :D. My sister got braces. Oh my goodness. I loved it so much. :D. You have no idea how happy this makes me.

Backing Books: February 2015

Backing Books Worth Reading. Monday, February 23, 2015. The King's Scroll- Jaye Knight. When disaster strikes, all seems lost. Could Elôm have a plan even in the enemy’s triumph? I am really enjoying the Ilyon Chronicles. Kyrin and Jace are great characters and the Knight has done an awesome job of building their back stories. While the threat of death and execution has always been looming, in The King's Scrolls. I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book (There is a next book? Is a homeschoo...

Friday, February 20, 2015. Blog Tour and Review- "The King's Scrolls". I'm very excited to be participating in this blog tour! Could Elôm have a plan even in the enemy’s triumph? Sequels tend to be disappointing. They're good books and all that, but compared to the magic and wonder and brilliance of the first book? There were a f...

In the Character's Shadow: July 2015

In the Character's Shadow. Jul 22, 2015. Getting Cultured: One of My Favorite Parts of World-Building. 1 Choose a "Base" Culture. It helps me to have a real culture to base my fantasy culture off of. It can be just one culture that I kind of make my own, or it can be a combination of two or three different cultures. Either way, this gives me a nice starting point and a way to help me add a little bit of realism to my story. 2 Determine a "Defining" Characteristic. 3 Figure out the Land They Live In.
