Saturday, January 30, 2010. Cochabamba, Water Ballon Fights and Soccer Matches. We also went to a soccer match, which was highly entertaining and fun. Bolivianos are very loyal sports fans and are often a rowdy crowd. In fact, so rowdy that the police use giant shields to guard the soccer players and referees. At each break in the game they swarm to the field with helmets and shields, ready to protect players from the crowd´s wrath. It was great to hear from you all! Que le vaya bien! 161;Hola a todos!

Friday, January 22, 2010. Well everyone. I´ve arrived. In Bolivia. Cochabamba to be exact. It´s hot and mildly tropical with flowering trees everywhere. Mountains surround the city and create nice vistas in all directions. My group has not completely arrived yet, so I have been wandering around the city, chatting with people, getting lost, etc. Me And we will shop for cell phones. Ok, bye honey."
