ONE CRUSTY MOM-E: IN NEED OF AN ALARM
http://crustybeef.blogspot.com/2011/09/in-need-of-alarm.html
Where I beef about the many different "plates of crust" in my life. Friday, September 30, 2011. IN NEED OF AN ALARM. I really think I need an alarm clock sans snooze button to help out this Crusty Mom-E. Right at this moment I have half chewed nails, roots that are screaming for color, dog hair on my socks and sweet pepper jalapeno dip on my shirt. Hair is a hasenbeenwashedsincewed pony tail and I am exhausted. I knew I hadn't been over here for awhile, but this long? A "you need to post something" app?
ONE CRUSTY MOM-E: DOES EVERYONE HAVE A HILLY PIE IN THEIR LIFE?
http://crustybeef.blogspot.com/2011/10/does-everyone-have-hilly-pie-in-their.html
Where I beef about the many different "plates of crust" in my life. Saturday, October 22, 2011. DOES EVERYONE HAVE A HILLY PIE IN THEIR LIFE? It's a new day. When she approaches the cold bathroom floor and faces the mirror she feels good. She advances upon the mirror ready to face her image, all crows feet puffs and bloated age spots. But she feels good. It's a new day and she's doing something new. She's improving her implementation quotient. As we know, life doesn't always work out that way. She is alm...

ONE CRUSTY MOM-E: I DIDN'T REALIZE ....and SONS THAT STOP HUGGING
http://crustybeef.blogspot.com/2011/08/i-didnt-realize-and-sons-that-stop.html
Where I beef about the many different "plates of crust" in my life. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. I DIDN'T REALIZE .and SONS THAT STOP HUGGING. I've been "away" for this long. I have been working on a few projects. For one, I'm trying to adjust to the new school schedule beginning Thursday. Because my youngest is now part of the Public School System as a happy Kindergartner on an IEP. Now, my first grader, he's not ready. My fourth grader, well, he's so balanced that I worry that he's too ready. I guess Im l...
ONE CRUSTY MOM-E: My Son's Are In Love With Their School Nurse!

Where I beef about the many different "plates of crust" in my life. Thursday, October 06, 2011. My Son's Are In Love With Their School Nurse! Gargle with salt water.". Gargle with salt water.". Gargle with salt water.". It seems to be a common post bus drop off statement in our house these days. Not just with one or two of my sons, but all three. I think the third is just influenced by two and one. You see, they LOVE the school nurse. Or, rather, going to SEE the school nurse. Have I babied them? Is it o...

The Hedy Experience: December 2010
http://hedyblog.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live. - Henry David Thoreau. Friday, December 17, 2010. My good friend Dave at Rather Than Working. Requested an appearance of our Cuddly Wuddly Savior for the holiday season or Christmas season or Saturnalia or whatever you use as an excuse to eat/drink too much in December. So here he is. Realizing that I'm way overdue for any sort of meaningful update, it's my goal to spend time on this between the holidays. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Living the Life - Mo on the Go: January 2013
http://livingthelifemoonthego.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Living the Life - Mo on the Go. Friday, January 11, 2013. After the holidays and getting over the flu, I had a handful of thank you cards I needed to send. I like to keep it. Fresh so I headed to Michael's to see if I could find something that would catch my eye and feed my crafty soul. I had a few designs in mind and was hopeful I would be able to make them reality. In the end I did. Made one of them a reality that is. However, I paid full price for the goods I purchased that fine winter night. What mat...

Living the Life - Mo on the Go. Saturday, January 17, 2015. She Gets What She Wants. Snugs and Rubs - Check. I wouldn't have it any other way, except when I am trying to catch up on personal to do items. Friday, January 16, 2015. Fearless Fact Friday: 01.16.15. For the longest time I thought the lyrics for Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" were don't stop 'til the bus stop. Let that sink in for a moment. Yeah, so don't stop. Living the Life - Mo on the Go. Friday, January 16, 2015. Fearless Fact Friday: 01.16.15. For the longest time I thought the lyrics for Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" were don't stop 'til the bus stop. Let that sink in for a moment. I didn't realize the entire song title was 'til you get enough and I rode the bus in middle school and part of the first year of high school. Yeah, so don't stop. Labels: Fearless Fact Friday. Living the Life - Mo on the Go: April 2013
http://livingthelifemoonthego.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Living the Life - Mo on the Go. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. I participate in Instagram photo challenges. I do so as it gives me an opportunity to be present and capture my surroundings through a camera lens, which more often than not is via my iPhone4S. The subjects of the day are usually not items I would choose to take a picture of without prompting. I like this aspect of the challenges. I enjoy seeing how others interpret their life from the prompting of one word. Today's subject was money. Subscribe to:...

Living the Life - Mo on the Go. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Really, it does! I have often wondered how well the bio bags I use for composting work. By work I mean do they really break down in the compost. If I composted in the back yard I would know for sure but I don't; back yard compost that is. I do, however, compost daily and let my local garbage company compost my goods. Big shout out to having this option readily available. Thank you Waste Management. Yup, sho' did. Living the Life - Mo on the Go: Catching Up on Fearless Fact Friday
http://livingthelifemoonthego.blogspot.com/2015/02/catching-up-on-fearless-fact-friday.html
Living the Life - Mo on the Go. Sunday, February 08, 2015. Catching Up on Fearless Fact Friday. I can move my pinky toes like nobody's business. I thought everyone could until I recently found out this wasn't so. Left, right, up, down, straight out - my pinky toes go. My dancing resembles this. From time to time. Spirit animals are real. Ask my friend, DB. He says I am his. This might be mine. A lynx with a wonky eye is totally legit. Labels: Fearless Fact Friday. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
The Hedy Experience: June 2010
http://hedyblog.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live. - Henry David Thoreau. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Do you know this song? It's Jason Mraz. I have the album," says my brother Eric. We're out to dinner at a local fest last Friday and the band is playing I'm Yours. One of my absolute favorite songs of 2009. It is, in this moment, that I realize (again) how much we have in common. And yet we are so completely disconnected and distant. This makes me unbelievably sad. This makes me happy.
The Hedy Experience: Simply Human
http://hedyblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/simply-human.html
How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live. - Henry David Thoreau. Thursday, February 24, 2011. I've been eye-balling these shower soap dispensers from Simple Human. For more than a year now. Hedy, Hedy, Hedy. Yep I know. It's a long story. So I want this wall mount woop-di-do soap dispenser. 70 bucks, Hedy? So I called Simple Human customer support. And that's why I'm writing about this and not myriad other ridiculous activities from the week. I'm looking at the Triple Wall M...

Break an Egg
Crusty Baker Search Engine. Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Day 121: Busy Weekend. Short post. Friday I made the Blood Orange Mousse cake and it turned out very nice. If I were to make it again, I would add a thicker layer of white chocolate mousse and a slightly thinner layer of Blood Orange mousse. I have class this afternoon, just a demo though. We are making something caramel based, with pears. I have finally uploaded the backlog of pics on Flickr. Please check them out. Song of the Day: Juliette by Hollerado.

Tuesday, November 10, 2009. I wonder if there are many among us who have taken the time to read the military oath, given to those individuals who serve in our Armed Services. Consider for a moment, those individuals who take this oath, knowingly and without reservation are willing to die for those freedoms we enjoy. Hero’s Among Us”. A good crust, with tender layers of marketing, mothering, and butter. Mostly meal planning. Why, hello there! We’ve been trucking along through summer/fall, and I’ve happily settled into a routine of batch cooking, shopping just a few days ahead, and not planning out a whole week at a time. But here we are again. Because I have dessert goals. I received an Instant Pot, which is an electronic pressure cooker. Very stable. Very reliable. Very good at making cheesecakes. August 13, 2015, 11:07 pm. Jimmy Carter. The last truly honest man to inhabit the White House. Gonna hate to see him go. He was Mr. Human Rights before it was cool….and then he started listening to his crooked advisors and that turned his presidency into a puppet show. Dang. Gonna hate to see his hammer-swingin, truth- and value-seekin self go. Dang. Down to one spider in the shower. I think the little one made his(? Final move on the big one, and she(?
