I'm Just Sayin': May 2009
http://mccalley.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2009. Last Friday night, Dave and I made the drive to White Pine(you have to read "White Pine" with your very best southern accent) because we had gotten a tip that there may be many, many super cute baby lambs at the farm. It turns out that Mr. Ram figured out how to sneak over to the ladies' side of the fence, and, well, you know how it goes. Dave managed to snag one. Monday, May 25, 2009. Enjoy some chalkboard pantry art. Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Thursday, May 7, 2009. Quickly caught the...

ZaskarLE- Two wheeled pursuit of happiness: July 2009
http://zaskarle.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 27, 2009. RCP #1 (Random commuter post). Ever wonder what it's like to live out west, where evergreen forests predominate the woods? Just plant a plastic tree in your front yard and don't even water it. The leaves will probably stay for years before they photo degrade, and you can always spray paint the "chlorophyll A" back on. Best of all if you decide it's a deciduous year, just apply some red, orange, and yellow highlights. No need to water! Sunday, July 26, 2009. Bruised but not broken.

ZaskarLE- Two wheeled pursuit of happiness: January 2009
http://zaskarle.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2009. Greeted this morning on my commute by a rather interesting barrier made of 2x8 lashed together at their center point by what appeared to be coat hangar wire. It looks like they have re sloped the approach to the bridge and allowed for expansion? I dunno but at any pace I thought it might be done by the end of the year at the rate it took them to build the bridge. Also they got rid of the grafitti some punk put on the supports, let's see how long it lasts. By far the coolest an...

ZaskarLE- Two wheeled pursuit of happiness: June 2009
http://zaskarle.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 29, 2009. Sometimes, you just gotta lay in shallow a mud puddle and wallow a bit. (after urinating in it). Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Father's Day Extravaganza 2009. This past weekend was packed start to finish. A friend of mine and a helluva cross racer, Travis Book. And his band the infamous stringdusters. On the radio and they both brought down the house that evening. My interest in live Bluegrass and the like were rekindled by the night's performances. Travis and his wife live on the air.

ZaskarLE- Two wheeled pursuit of happiness: Winter- A love story
http://zaskarle.blogspot.com/2010/02/winter-love-story.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. Winter- A love story. There are 3 foot tall guard rails under there somewhere. The tea/coffee/hot chocolate bar with homemade cake for us made the sell very easy. Wipe your feet and your shoes go in the tray by the door. Beautiful clear day with picturesque views. And finally us in action trying to remember how to ski. Great Valentines trip and we got lots of winter outside activity in. Here’s to 6 more (or more) weeks of winter! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

ZaskarLE- Two wheeled pursuit of happiness: August 2009
http://zaskarle.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 17, 2009. Stormy afternoons made for some neat morning clouds. Boogs doubles as a pillow when he's tired. Big and pretty spiders where everywhere. Ripples in a tidal pool hold fast onto water trying desperately to escape. This is what I thought that mom was squawking about but it was in fact a shark not a Dolphin fin as pictured here. This Dolphin came over to our shore and was quite curious about Boogy. You could see it rolling on its side to take a look at him. I jokingly ask...Like I al...

Thursday, December 25, 2008. Christmas in the house! A homemade present from the in laws. We Knew boogs was thinking about lifting a leg. Abby politely informed him this would be a household act of war. Fully decorated and alive. Inappropriate" home made ornaments. (you have to look for these to find them. The hill was super steep. On this particular lap the prize for the first person to the top riding was 3 pairs of socks. Another view of the steep grade. Abby sporting her Washington prize from the hill.

ZaskarLE- Two wheeled pursuit of happiness: Unforseen awesomeness
http://zaskarle.blogspot.com/2011/12/unforseen-awesomeness.html
Monday, December 12, 2011. Most of the time city projects are a hindrance to alternative transit, and don't care about pedestrians/cyclists on the greenways. Other times, they either possibly have secret elves that do care or most likely mistakenly make fun additions to the greenways. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Good Idea at the Time. ZaskarLE- Two wheeled pursuit of happiness: Fall 2010- CX time in TN!!
http://zaskarle.blogspot.com/2010/09/fall-2010-cx-time-in-tn.html
Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Fall 2010- CX time in TN! Well it’s been a while. School/work was super busy this summer with conferences, time consuming experiments, working on up and coming publications, and taking my comprehensive exams. I basically was off even commuting by bike for about 7 weeks. I gained some weight, and as I found out this past weekend, I lost quite a bit of fitness over the summer months. Friday night I went and saw Travis Book and his band ( The Infamous Stringdusters. Had a grea...
