Just a few lines. Sunday, 31 May 2009. Babies, Bathwater and the BNP. It's not very often I feel moved to write about politics, but I find myself growing increasingly concerned by the extent to which the upcoming European Elections are being overshadowed by the issues over MP's expenses. But, could we postpone our anger for a few days, please? Just until after Thursday? I only ask, because at the moment there is a. To prevent the BNP from winning seats. Just a few lines...: Our Turn...
http://sarahmonteith.blogspot.com/2009/06/our-turn.html
Just a few lines. Monday, 8 June 2009. In 2004 the USA re-elected George Bush, in dubious circumstances and with questionable majorities. Lots of people in America were very concerned and upset about this state of affairs, and the impact it would have on the view that the rest of the world had on their country. So, some of them created a website- sorryeveryone.com- on which they posted pictures and messages of themselves apologising for the turn of events. I mailed them this last night. The link is here.

The Principal of Business | Sleeper City: Diary of a Wannabe Writer

Sleeper City: Diary of a Wannabe Writer. Blogging about my attempts to write something half-decent. The Principal of Business. Tuesday, 1 December, 2009. So I didn’t write fifty thousand words of fiction in November this year. I was (to understate things) out of sorts, not feeling a need to meet that goal again, not becoming excited about anything I was writing, and suffering the general resurgence of that good old no-follow-through, goal abandonment habit of mind. Not so good is the why. How will I cope?

Monthly Archives: October 2010. A Brand New Start. I have been tinkering around with this site over the summer and finally after much procrastination and a busy couple of months at work posted something. That particular blog was one where I hid behind the name of Crystal Days. In the coming months I’m hope to rectify these issues. For now this domain/blog will still be work in progress.
