Believing God One Day At A Time! Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Cooking with Nana Auntie. My parents were the hosts for my dad's side of the family get together or gathering. With that came many hours in the kitchen for my mom and us, preparing food and goodies. On this day, they were making caramel dipped marshmallows rolled in rice krispies. There were a lot of caramels to unwrap. Helping Auntie Janesa with the butter. Grandpa keeping Megan happy. I think she was looking at Janesa barbecuing. Katelyn got...

Princess Madelyn - A CDH Story: August 2009
http://madelyncdhstory.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Princess Madelyn - A CDH Story. We received the devistating news at 20 weeks gestation that our baby would have Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. Reading other blogs of families struggling with this diagnosis gave us hope and knowledge. CDH is very common yet no one seems to have heard of it. My goal is to give hope to other families stuggling with CDH. Saturday, August 29, 2009. We have been very busy getting the yard in better shape to show off to the crowd. Thanks Dad! We have been hoping for getting b...

Believing God One Day At A Time! Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Being small and bundled made things harder for Megan. Falling down left her pretty helpless, which was kind of funny to watch. Megan got sent down the slide only to land at the bottom and put her arms up for help. Coming in called for some hot chocolate. Shaking up some whip cream. Using the Kerig for hot water for chocolate. This way Katelyn can help make it with minimal fuss. Adding the whip cream. Throwing rocks in the creek.

Believing God One Day At A Time! Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Katelyn is just getting be such a big girl and such fun, in between the strong will fights we can have with each other. This girl can be stubborn and if it's not her idea, then she ain't gonna do it! Some might say she's like her mama but there is her daddy in there too. Sometimes when I hug her, she says "You're so cute mama" with a little wrinkle in her nose. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mennonite Girls Can Cook.

http://pellegrinopost.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Believing God One Day At A Time! Saturday, September 8, 2012. We had to upgrade Katelyn to a bigger bike because the trike was just too small. So we headed to Walmart to see their selection. We came home with this sweet little bike, complete with princess helmet and princess bell. Friday, September 7, 2012. Malissa was more the photographer than fisher woman. Fishing was slim or next to nil, so they all headed back in for some food, which was great by the way. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Believing God One Day At A Time! Thursday, March 27, 2014. Can you tell who is who? They look so much alike in some photos it is hard to tell. Answers: Megan, Katelyn, Megan, Katelyn. Katelyn thought that this Valentine's day, we should eat all heart food. If that's not a challenge, I don't know what is. How many foods can you come up with in the shape of hearts? This was going to be interesting. Making Valentines for Micah and Mackenzie. Mackenzie adores her friend, Katelyn. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Believing God One Day At A Time! Saturday, October 19, 2013. When one paints, so must the other. It is fun to watch, but she needs to be watched or the painting turns to finger painting. The other day, I wasn't watching and Megan grabbed the paint tray and streaked her hair with it. It turned a lovely shade of yellowish green. It was kind of cute on her. Very trendy :). Different flowers, but a rustic look with rafia and berries. I loved it. Get In. My. Mouth. Snacking on the "picmic bwanket". Bleeding h...

Believing God One Day At A Time! Saturday, March 23, 2013. Walking on the big beam. Warming up with some stretches. First attempt at a sommersault on the beam. Getting comfortable on the low beams. This is where they worked on some footwork. They also did some tumbling on the floor mats. Sommersaults, monkey walk, log rolls, and bunny hops. She did great when she got comfortable. She would run up to me after she was done at her station and give me a high five. I was one proud mama. 10 months old already!

I had a doctor's appointment on the 9th and the doctor and I had discussed what would happen if I went over my due date. I was alright with waiting another week and see where we would go from there, if not we could induce the following Thursday night. Thursday night was chosen because Dr. Spomer would be gone to a family graduation that. Uch of what wa...

Believing God One Day At A Time! Sunday, April 29, 2012. Daddy and Me Bird Feeder. Inserting skewers for ledges for the birds to sit on. Making more ledge holes. Me at 31 weeks March 10, 2012. Terrible, only the 2nd pregnant picture I've taken. Someone was hiding from me. I can't seem to figure out where she is or who my pillow is hiding. "Here I am mommy! Let's Go Fly A Kite. The giggles could be heard throughout the small house. Pure love and joy expressed between a father and his little girl.
