Figurative Artist - Los Angeles County. WELCOME - ARTIST STATEMENT. The subjects of my paintings are my people. In past works my large scale nudes occupy domestic space rendering them vulnerable. I absorb their mannerisms. They restore me to humanity. I am obsessed with keeping my memories. I find it difficult to forget. Maybe this quality is due to genetic memory, perhaps a lost oral tradition, as I identify Chicana with a forever lost indigenous past. Are wild. I try to keep these at about 45 min.

It's a bit difficult to photograph since the drawing is done with colerase on two transparent sheets. The elements look a bit complicated, but it will clear up with addition of color, line variation, value and whatever signature stye I move toward. I'm working on three layers. He ventured out by himself yesterday to get a new one to replace the broken one. Regan had no idea that we had a new TV in the back of Josh’s truck when she went to bed last night. Life as a Behney…. As a Mom…. I now realize. →. October 26, 2009 · 12:04 am. Yes…I bought it! My girls have been in gymnastics for almost 4 years. We have taken “sabbaticals” during the 4 years. However the kids have realized that some kids get trophies each year for attendance. Hmmm…not my kids…we take too many breaks to qualify for these trophies. Finally we have managed to attend for 2 straight years and Regan received her 2 year recognition trophy. She was so proud! Madalyn should get hers next month.

We tried really hard to get there on time and we did it! I frantically grabbed the car door, praying it really was not locked…it was!
