The Original Nomads: December 2011
http://deniserobertson.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 14, 2011. The Christmas Window Horror. Our first snow of the season came yesterday morning. Abby was thrilled to ride around in her sled while I pulled her. It was a raw deal for one of us. Strangely, it was pretty warm outside. Oliver will put his fingers anywhere. And I mean a.n.y.w.h.e.r.e. He's also a big fan of putting his fingers in my mouth, so when I get the plague you won't have to guess were I got it. In the meanwhile, Abby and Grandma have been cooking up a storm! Be Still ...

The Original Nomads: November 2011
http://deniserobertson.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Trying to Catch Up. About a month ago, Oliver started creeping around the house. He can push shopping carts, musical lions, and chairs from one side of the room to the other. He can climb like a monkey. He's also learned to pull himself up in his crib, which leaves me equally proud and annoyed. Do you see that ONE tooth he's sporting? He has another one half way out of his gum. Hot. Abby was a lantern princess, of course. What The. Crap. Germans love Pippy Longstocking. Oliver...

The Original Nomads: January 2013
http://deniserobertson.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 30, 2013. My friend did such a great job blogging our experience that I just copied and pasted her blog into mine. Enjoy! Denise and I went to a hamam today. That was a new experience for both of us. According to the website, "the hamam is the ideal place to find spiritual peace and physical relaxation." Who are we to argue with that? The Original Nomads: August 2012
http://deniserobertson.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 07, 2012. Normandy - Juno and Omaha Beach. It was super humbling to visit Juno Beach, Normandy, on Canada Day. All the tour guides are from different areas of Canada and are young and vibrant - exactly like the brave men who landed on that beach. The memorial museum was very touching. The art was moving. I can't recommend it enough. It literally alternated between beautiful sun and torrential rain off and on over and over. I guess that is very normal, but super annoying. It was a series o...

http://ashleyandbenhulse.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
It's not just the next chapter, it's the next volume we're starting! Monday, December 12, 2011. Well another month has gone by. And a crazy month it was. We still haven't made it home (obviously), but are still hoping to soon. If things work out we'll be home for Christmas, but I can't make any promises yet. We'll know more in the next few days. Ash and Ben: February 2012
http://ashleyandbenhulse.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
It's not just the next chapter, it's the next volume we're starting! Friday, February 03, 2012. I finally finished my quilt! It was been a work in progress for quite a while. I started gathering the fabric while Ben was deployed (all the way back in 2008). And then I just kept putting it off. I'd work on it a little bit, and then put it off again. I finally finished it though! And perhaps I'll do another one of these days. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Boise, Idaho, United States. View my complete profile.

Ash and Ben: September 2011
http://ashleyandbenhulse.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
It's not just the next chapter, it's the next volume we're starting! Friday, September 23, 2011. On a plus note, as soon as this surgery is done we can start the med board. And since he'll have this put in, it's pretty much a guarantee that we will be getting out of the military. Yay! As good as the military has been for us, we are ready to be done. I don't know when we'll be getting out, it all depends on how long the med board takes. But we should be done by next summer-ish. :). Here we are at 38 weeks!
