Once in a Lifetime : January 2011

It Was a Blast. Daxon in the ball pit. At "It's a Blast". Climbing to the top. Sliding down with Daddy. Sweet Dreams, Finally. As I had mentioned in post's throughout my blog, Daxon was sleeping through the night since the day we brought him home. I remember the first night waking him up to feed him and then having people telling me if he's hungry he will wake up and I should be lucky he sleeps so good. I had tried a few things in the past to try to get him to sleep and ended up choosing the Ferber method.

A welcome sight (Daxon smiling) as he's just getting over a fever! So we made it 3 months with out being sick, which is an accomplishment around our house, as it seems like since last April (when Daxon got sick for the first time) he has been sick a least once a month (including his birthday). So this is what the day looked like! While mommy did the laundry! The NEW counter tops! Here is the before to refresh your memory. I'm so happy with the way they turned out! Looks much more classy! Can you find him?

Headaches at least once a day, some aren't to bad and some are worse. My tummy is starting to get itchy this week (bring on the coco butter! Other than that, still feeling pretty good, no back pain yet like I had with Daxon at this time (fingers crosses it never comes! Still sweet things and sometime I just crave an ice cold glass of water! Movement: I think so! With Daxon I don't really remember the first little movements like the butterflies, I just remember the a actual kicks. Goofing around at supper!

Number of Weeks: 30 Weeks. Cravings/Appetite:Well I'm happy to say I'm past my slurpee everyday stage (and considering it's getting to -20 some days, it's probably for the best). Movement: It seems she is really active one day and then not as much the next she must be tiring herself out! Sleep: This has defiantly become less comfortable, some night I will just keep tossing and turning and cant get comfortable. (I just want to lye on my tummy! Only 10 more weeks to go! A fire dog of course, which he designated Tatum to be! I was lucky to find a lady who was selling a dalmatian costume which was the perfect size. So there you have it, I had everything planned a month before Halloween, well so I thought. You cant be a fireman and a fire dog without a firetruck. So after some searching, this is what we ended up with! The fireman and his fire dog. The fireman pulling the fire dog in the firetruck. I cant wait to think of a matching costume for them next year! Ducks in a Row.

Once in a Lifetime : What I'm Thankful For
http://emperingham-onceinalifetime.blogspot.com/2012/10/what-im-thankful-for.html
What I'm Thankful For. I thought I would take a minute to reflect on what I'm thankful for. All too often we sometime forget the smallest things make life so wonderful and the greater things that we sometimes take for granted. My Family and Friends, especially my husband and son. The bouncing baby girl in my tummy. The happy story on the new or in the newspaper, that brings tears to your eyes and reminds you that there are still caring people in this world! Having good jobs that support our family. Subsc...

A Little Dirt Never Hurt: Driving Miss Daisy...
http://littledirt.blogspot.com/2012/04/driving-miss-daisy.html
A Little Dirt Never Hurt. In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt. Margaret Atwood. Monday, April 2, 2012. I thought Preston was baby obsessed when he was younger, but Wyatt sure does beat him in that category. While at the family centre he brought his baby for a drive in his car. It was too cute! Another adorable thing he does is he will carry his baby around and pat it on the back. I haven't caught a picture of this yet, but I am working on it : ). Planned Family Events for 2012.
