Shannon Smith: September 2010
http://shannon-smith.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. We like to call our dog, Dexter, grasshopper killer. He likes to catch them, bring them in the house, play around with it, eat their legs, and watch it suffer. I was just emptying a load from the washer into the dryer. There was something at the bottom of the wash bin. I reached in and grabbed it. As soon as I saw the grasshopper head I had just picked up, I totally freaked out! Screaming and jumping around and I've totally got the willies! Wednesday, September 29, 2010.

http://shortandtallofit.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
The Short and the Tall of it. Starting 2008 - a riveting in-the-trenches story of a relatively short woman married to a tall man, their shortish daughter, shortish boys, and (once upon a time), a small big dog. Sunday, June 1, 2014. Well, hello June! What was I thinking? I was excited for school to end until it ended and I realized that my beloved children would be home all the time, making messes and eating all the time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tuesday, March 25, 2014. If I were the type to hyperventilate, I would be hyperventilating, I think. My niece is going to have a baby. This bumps me back a generation! I got about 60% of my hair cut off today, and colored. It turns out I have a decent amount of gray hair. I like change, I do.

Sunday, February 1, 2009. Food Play and playing with food. This last week of January I took a few pictures of things going on around here. Thanks to my friend, Anna, I had to steal her idea and take pictures of our creations also. I had all the ingredients, so we had fun making these. Chocolate chips make good buttons and eyes and marshmallows make great mittens. Kimmie was laughing at hers falling apart before she could eat it. Mine was a long banana.and yummie! The Best of Becca: March 2008
http://beccasbloopers.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
The Best of Becca. Friday, March 21, 2008. Hansen bean turns 2! The joys of rush hour? Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending about an hour driving in rush hour traffic. I don't normally need to go out at this time so it got me thinking of ways I might be able to enjoy it. 1 I got to have my sunroof and windows open because I wasn't going so fast that it was too loud I couldn't hear the radio, and the breeze was quite nice. 2 How often to you get to go parade speed when you aren't actually in a parade?

Life is Short... Stop and Smell the Roses: May 2010
http://rosamutabilis.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 9, 2010. Mothers day, as many other days, is a day where I reflect on my wishes to also one day be a mother myself. As one who has always loved children, it sometimes makes my heart ache. I however rely in faith that there will be a time where the Lord decides to bless us, and that only he knows that time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Candy Addict (New Candy). Shannon Smith: October 2009
http://shannon-smith.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 14, 2009. This is a recipe I found while searching for a fajita marinade. It was so so good. I'm using it tonight for the chicken going into enchiladas. Reading over the recipe in preparation of typing this, I've realized I forgot to get garlic at the store this morning. Crap, I don't want to have to go back. But garlic is a must! Wondering how young I can start sending my kids to the store with a few wadded up ones to go fetch me something? 1/4 cup lime juice. 2 tablespoons olive oil.
