Over the course of 8 months, mentors spend approximately one hour each week with their student, reviewing grades and assignments, and using specific talking points and program materials designed to help each student develop a positive and healthy self-perception, and all of the opportunities that abound in the world around them. WHAT YOU CAN DO. Dec 3, 2016. For the donation of planners for Mentors Care students! It is so important that students learn to be organized and plan so that they can become successful students. Most of our students do not know how to become organized. Our mentors will take time with their student and teach them HOW to use a planner.
