University Experience 101: November 2013
http://universityexperience101.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
You can't take a class for this. Monday, November 25, 2013. I'm not a huge fan of group projects. Well that was a short post. I don't really think I have to back that up with anything. If you've ever had a bad group project experience raise your hand. At least the project is *easy*. Until next time,. Thursday, November 7, 2013. I could draw a graph of the effort required for higher education. Your grade. Sounds like I'm becoming a lazy delinquent. Well I'm not. I have all A's and B's with 1 C...I know th...

University Experience 101: Real learning is addictive
http://universityexperience101.blogspot.com/2014/01/real-learning-is-addictive.html
You can't take a class for this. Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Real learning is addictive. By real, I mean learning on your own terms by people that actually know what they're talking about. They've actually worked (or do work) in the field. Not university professors. Recently, I attended a conference for SQL Server called SQL Saturday. (SQL Server is a Database thingy.tech jargon blah blah blah). YES oh my goodness yes. I was giddy with learning and knowledge and being surrounded by really smart people.

University Experience 101: October 2013
http://universityexperience101.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
You can't take a class for this. Wednesday, October 16, 2013. School ruins my ability to concentrate. I have no issue working 8 hour work days if I'm used to working 8 hour days. But when you have classes that are an hour long with hour or two breaks smudged in between, it's easier and easier to operate on an hour-long attention span. A couple hours at most. This kills me when I go to work 8 hour days. Couldn't we just have class 8 hours a day and be done in a week? That would be AWESOME. Until next time,.

University Experience 101: July 2014
http://universityexperience101.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
You can't take a class for this. Monday, July 28, 2014. In order to graduate, I have to take 2 "Exit Exams". One is the General Education test, and the other is a Major Field Test (MFT) - a test for each major. These tests get submitted to some government or private or something to determine how much grant money the University gets and my college gets. Yes, I thought about it). So let me get this straight: the University gets money based on my score, but I have absolutely ZERO motivation to score well?

You can't take a class for this. Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Yes, let's read from the book. That will be fun. And new. I really hate college. Grrr. I'm so tired of this gross blah. What I'm really tired of is this whole reading from the book. If all you call teaching is reading from the book, save me the trouble and remove your attendance policy. Or actually learn how to teach. (Ha, yea right). I COULD DO THIS ON MY OWN TIME). And I (or rather my parents) PAY FOR THIS? Until next time,. I did not do this ...

University Experience 101: December 2013
http://universityexperience101.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
You can't take a class for this. Saturday, December 14, 2013. If you have to cheat in a Sophmore level Lit class. Tee hee. So yesterday my lit class gets this e-mail (I took out the names.):. I'm going to save this little e-mail gem as a reminder that there are Professors who still care about academic honesty, and that cheating is still punishable. And it's always nice to see justice. We all *know* it happens, but seeing is believing. Until next time,. I GOT AN A! D WHOOP DI WHOOP. Until next time,.

University Experience 101: February 2012

You can't take a class for this. Saturday, February 25, 2012. I can (mostly) deal with stupidity, but people wasting my time? So I was sitting in my Sociology class Thursday (Sociology is my minor) and the professor is going over the format and guidelines for the midterm exam. In this discussion, and on the review page he had loaded on the projector, said, you need to buy a form thus and such scantron. A few minutes later, a girl behind me asked, do we need a scantron?
