http://sumyeeleung.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 29, 2005. I had my first KCB295 seminar yesterday! It was great, I had a feeling that I back to the real world. Haha! Because I don’t need to sit in front of the computer anymore now, and I can talk to my classmates and tutor face-to-face. In the seminar sessions, I can and chat and laugh with others easily. I feel warm in the seminar sessions. During the seminar, my tutor, Jaz showed us some virtual community’s websites, such as, Friendster. After this seminar, I found that there are diffe...

Wednesday, July 27, 2005. I actually think its somewhat deep and meaningfull :P). Ok, just blogging a bit cause, well, feel like writing shit out, not caring if people read it, and don't want to waste any paper. and maybe, just maybe, I subconsciously want people to read it, and send me support by confirming my thoughts and ideas. or by tell me I'm full of it. I'm sure my subconscious will be able to separate the good from the bad. All women are single at some point in time! Yeah, totally, thought she mi...

Saturday, March 26, 2005. Who Says Links are the New Web Currency? I remember someone talking about how for website's popularity used to be about pageviews, but now blogs are using links as the base for establishing popularity. Or something like that. I was just thinking that that isn't really the case, because back when a website was just that, a website, where were the people getting cash from to support their dirty habit? Sunday, May 29, 2005. Final Post for KCB295. Reflections on Blog Process. After completing this Weblog, I found that I am very interested in blogging. During the process of keeping this Weblog, I found that Weblogs are:. Very convenience for people to write their journals;. Easy to use, people just type their journal, save and publish it;. Easy organisation for people, who can use Weblog to record their journals day by day;. More dependent on technology;. Compare the Weblog to a Paper Journal. First of a...

This is a blog dedicated to KCB295 Virtual Cultures. I am studying this as part of my course at the Queensland University of Technology. Tuesday, May 24, 2005. Written reflection on the blog. The process of keeping a blog and comparison with a paper journal. Posted by Lindi @ 12:33 PM. Thursday, May 12, 2005. The blog is over. I have come to see some benefits to blogging though, especially in an academic environment. I think that "forcing" people to blog and thus, engage with and critically reflect u...

Monday, April 25, 2005. In More Current Beta Testing News. The use of ellipses is now back in style. Yes, you heard me. I'm hopeing to once again do some betatesting for SpiderWeb Software. Oh, and you get a free copy of the game at the end. That's a saving of $50 bucks (AUD). Score. How does this have anything to do with my uni work? Not to mention the fact that no-one will probably ever read this). This is an interesting question, although I don't know if i need to answer it, and I certainly don't ...

Tuesday, March 29, 2005. Explore a Virtual Community. After I joined a mailing list, I check it everyday, the most interesting part was, I received many new cake recipes, yeah! I made a lavender cheese cake at home, yummy! However, after I joined a mailing list, I should start to find virtual community for my exercise. I found that’s really hard to find a virtual community; I searched it for few days, but, still couldn’t find one I am really interested in. Before I study KCB295, I thought that community ...
