Eoin's CSC Assignment in Brazil, March - April 2014. Saturday, 5 April 2014. On our first full weekend in Ceará (weekend of 22 march), we traveled to the popular beach resort of Canoa Quebrada . The resort is about 160km from Fortaleza, and takes about two and a half hours. So, we hired a minibus to leave early on Saturday morning, and decided to stay overnight. Is a large cultural center in Fortaleza. It is a wonderful place to spend an evening, with several good restaurants, samba and forró. On our second weekend in Ceará (29-30 March), several team members decided to travel to the mountain village of Guaramiranga.
