The great doing of little things make the great life. Saturday, November 3, 2012. A couple of days ago we had a beautiful fall day. After playing a little bit, the boys decided they needed to be baseball players. Luke got them their hats and gloves and they were ready! Nevermind Adam's pink glove (we found it for 25 cents at our neighbor's garage sale, so sue us). He doesn't care, he just wants to be big like his brother. He's totally rockin' the pink glove here, don't you think? Let's go ride our bikes!

I wanted to do something to honor her after these 5 years, and, knowing I would surely butcher the cinnamon rolls, decided to bake a "cookie cake" (as Luke calls it) in her pan. They were delicious! And yes, pretty much every single kitchen item she owned was permanently marked "Henry Nisly" and "HN" to ensure she never lost any items at a potluck! I'll always miss you, Grandma! We are expecting #3 October 16! This is not the greatest picture, since it was so early. I was only 8 weeks along in this picture, and am now nearly 16 weeks. The great doing of little things make the great life. Saturday, October 19, 2013. It's been a while since I remember it snowing in October, but yesterday it did, much to the boys' delight! It was a pretty wet snow, but they didn't care. Today, the snow is gone and it's sunny and nearly 70*. The boys are playing outside in T-shirts. I looked out the window to find the scenario below. So.I decided to give photography a whirl and to my amazement I love the pictures! Here's what I did:. 1 Look on Pinterest for pose ideas. 2 Borrow the parents' nice camera. 3 Wait for perfect weather. 4 Shamelessly bribe the children with suckers for their cooperation!
