Just another day...: Christmas break in CA - SoCal
http://maggiealex.blogspot.com/2015/01/christmas-break-in-ca-socal.html
Thursday, January 01, 2015. Christmas break in CA - SoCal. Our last photos before leaving NorCal were with Santa at a neighborhood home that was voted one of the most festively decorated, and a family photo at home Christmas eve after Melodie arrived. Christmas morning was white, but from frost, not snow making it quite chilly as we loaded up the car for our drive to Sacramento to catch our flight to SoCal. The days leading up to the new year were filled with more food, family activities, and errands....

Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Christmas in CA - NorCal. Since we didn't come back during the summer, we decided to make a quick trip during Christmas break. Alex and I flew to SFO arriving in the evening, Maggie flew up the next afternoon, and Paul arrived the evening after that. We spent the time before Paul arrived with Melodie and saw Steve for a late lunch. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Christmas in CA - NorCal. Friend's blogs and other links. Lots of Su photos. Just another day...: Reunion at the USRC

Friday, January 30, 2015. Reunion at the USRC. The expat community in Hong Kong is fairly transient, but there are families like ours that have stayed and made it their home. Every year before Christmas, friends start trickling in from various places - some for a quick stopover, others to visit longer. We haven't necessarily been in touch through the years since our lives have pulled us different directions, but when these former HKers arrive for a visit, we usually get together for a meal.

Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Spring break in Kenting. With a week to go before Spring break, and after a cool, cloudy, rainy March, we decided to go to Kenting, Taiwan for some sun with an overnight in Taipei on the way back. Kenting is about the same latitude as Hawaii, so we were looking forward to nice weather! We strolled through the night market checking out what snacks there were on offer, but ate at actual restaurants for our dinners (and had a snack or two from the stands later in the evening). W...

Just another day...: Cafeteria food
http://maggiealex.blogspot.com/2014/10/cafeteria-food.html
Friday, October 10, 2014. I'm sure many of you don't have fond memories of college cafeteria food, but Maggie has been enjoying the food at her college. The topic came up in our group chat, originally set up for everyone to see photos of baby Annabel, and where Kathryn also shared photos of Mia and Christopher from time to time. A brunch post popped up on 9/28 of chicken pecan salad plus green salad of crispy lettuce with honey Dijon dressing, a bite of juicy red grapefruit (from the self-serve salad bar...
