Thursday, January 28, 2010. How quick things can change. Freshia fell sick at around 4 am and by the time they arrived at the clinic she was pronounced dead. It was a very sad day for all friends and family. After the funeral which I helped to conduct, we received a report that evening that the father of Jane, our caretaker had committed suicide. What a day! Remember our CTC family at this time as they ponder on the difficult challenges that have befallen them and thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Students who have been participating in Rafiki link are doing great, they have been able to send their profiles to Canada that is in Bodwell High school and Albion Heights junior school so that the students there can get to know them better. CTC Kenya is also happy about Maai- Mahiu secondary school where we had about 40 students who came to participate during our Ubuntu day that involved cleaning up of town and installation of trash cans. Monday, August 23, 2010. Beberavi orders for CTC L.I.F.E bags. Economic project is proceeding well as Malaika mums are working harder for a tender of 1000 bags from Siamanda Chege who has a company by the name Beberavi collections. This company employs 100 women from rural villages in Kenya, devasted by the HIV/ AIDs virus and high unemployment. ( http:/ www.beberavi.com/.
