Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Another great work day! Another wave of new friends joined us this past weekend for our second Rose City Community Garden Work Day. Although it was the same weekend as Sailfest, we had a great turnout. We marked, dug, and leveled 5 plots in preparation for raised beds! A few folks brought extra tools to share. and there were even some blueberries fresh from a local Farmer's Market. Good times, good times. You can't stop progress! Rose City Community Garden. Monday, May 24, 2010. Thanks to all who participated during the Thompsonville Community Garden 2010 planting day! Many members planted a variety of vegetables in their beds. Many thanks to Trish and Gina for picking up the plants from the Growth Company. During the planting day activities members weeded and planted vegetables in their beds, cleaned up flower beds, and started to clean up the compost bins. Check out the pics!
