Coming Together for a Cure is a non-profit organization founded by Ryan, Lauren, and Blake Benton in 2009. Ryan, along with his siblings, recognized a need to raise awareness about adult stem cell therapy as a promising new treatment with a wide range of applications. Together, they founded CTFAC as a means to raise awareness and funds to support further adult stem cell research and therapy.

Ryan Benton was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at the age of three. He was given a life expectancy of late teens/early twenties. At the age of 22, Ryan was fortunate enough to be involved in a research study involving treatment with adult stem cells.
