Thursday, April 9, 2015. They might be different questions and conversations, but I get what youre saying. We tend to feel secure in what we know(warts and all! And that is the temptation. Part of me is terrified to retire, afraid that I wont have enough to do or the ability to set my own schedule. Im worried that Ill miss the connections with students and other staff and the interaction with people in general. We are both facing BIG STEPS forward into uncharted territory. xoxo. Thursday, April 2, 2015. Reflections on Interview #1. I will definitely keep them in my radar if a higher position within the company opens up. It's plain to me that this position isn't quite 'it'. Im looking for something like that for retirement, although not full time. The problem is that jobs that we would consider worthwhile and fulfilling never seem to pay much. Just another WordPress.com site. April 15, 2017. When I was in my mid-twenties I had an emergency appendectomy. A friend sent me a get well card that said I didn’t have anything to worry about because only the good die young. I looked at my watch this morning and it said it was mid-April 2017. I never thought I would live this long. If I make it to November I will be 80. Hell, I am on my second pacemaker. Technology has kept me alive this long starting when I was one year old. Three Weeks In, All Downhill.
