Lovely's Blot: December 2012

http://cubbles.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

A blog about life, mid-life crisis, moving to France and somewhere in there llamas and cycling. Wednesday, 12 December 2012. Hi friends and family and anyone else who happens to be passing by. I don't normally send out one of those Christmas letters with my cards, but if anyone is interested then I post a link to this page, where I summarise the year, thus saving on paper and postage and ensuring that only those who really want to know what we have been doing actually have to read it! The dog has been in...

Lovely's Blot: July 2013

http://cubbles.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

A blog about life, mid-life crisis, moving to France and somewhere in there llamas and cycling. Tuesday, 30 July 2013. My Poem (aged 8 1/2). At the weekend I was in the mood to sort through some of my mother's papers. She must have liked this poem that I wrote when I was at primary school as she kept it all these years. I find it rather disturbing! I'm only guessing about my age). I was walking along the shore. It was really rather a bore. The I came across a cave. I went in and saw. I ran and I ran.

Lovely's Blot: June 2013

http://cubbles.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

A blog about life, mid-life crisis, moving to France and somewhere in there llamas and cycling. Tuesday, 18 June 2013. Summer marches on; although not as warmly or consistently as in previous years. Rather than the usual long days of hot sun, we have had one or two humid and sultry days to intersperse the rain and storms that seem set to continue until at least the end of the month. Redstart and Hoopoe sheltering from rain. They converge on the swimming pool first thing in the morning and in the evening ...

A blog about life, mid-life crisis, moving to France and somewhere in there llamas and cycling. Wednesday, 19 February 2014. Last night's sky really looked like it was on fire. View from the office window. Labels: living in france. Weather; nice views. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I write about my experiences of living France and anything else that takes my fancy. I am also interested in photography and old and new photographs so you might find and few of those in here as well! The GMC and Doctors.

Lovely's Blot: Sepia Saturday 216: Three men - a mystery

http://cubbles.blogspot.com/2014/02/three-men-mystery.html

A blog about life, mid-life crisis, moving to France and somewhere in there llamas and cycling. Thursday, 20 February 2014. Sepia Saturday 216: Three men - a mystery. This weeks prompt for Sepia Saturday is of three men in hats. I couldn't find three men in suits but I did find a picture of three men in hats. I hope that's what it was because if you look closer. You can see that one of them is pointing a gun at the other man. They don't look too worried however. 20 February 2014 at 19:00. The guy thumbin...

tales from down under: life's little ironies

http://twosheilasandadog-talesfromdownunder.blogspot.com/2011/08/lifes-little-ironies.html

Tales from down under. A Pom, a Kiwi and a small ginger dog in Australia. Friday, August 26, 2011. The pleasure of sitting down to a meal consisting of only food produced from the property leaves a warm fuzzy glow, with all the food miles, food provenance and flavour boxes ticked. Throw in a couple of bottles of wine from the vineyard next door and local cheeses and the 'Good Life' is complete. As the ducks are a meat bird I feel the choice of a roasting pan as their starter pool was a little unkind.

Tales from down under. A Pom, a Kiwi and a small ginger dog in Australia. Thursday, July 14, 2011. The weed man came and approved Ness's weed control programme. It helped that he was the bloke who bought a lovely ewe lamb from us last season and is after more when the girls lamb again. Brian has calmed down and stopped attacking us when we enter his paddock so we assume that he has done his work and the girls are gestating. The Protea crop has been fantastic this year after a shaky start, so we are givin...

This blog is intended to be a place where I can share some of my craft and art activities, as well as aspects of life in general, but, the menagerie of animals seem determined to get themselves noticed, so we shall see what happens. Saturday, 19 September 2009. Just trying writing that out! I am still vegan, with the odd unavoidable lapse, but am sticking to the mantra, 'I am vegan for today'. Another issue is waste. I am still cooking eggs for guests for example. Sometimes these break when I am ...I am ...

For whenever I feel like talking about the team but don't have an audience. Déjà Vu: A Dodgers Grand Slam Spells the End for the Cubs. While watching the Cubs 7-2 loss to the Dodgers on Thursday night, I. Had an eerie feeling of déjà vu. While it was in a different city,. With a different player at the plate and a different player on the. Hill, I felt I was watching the exact same scenario unfold. And that’ll do it…. A grand slam by the Dodgers to all but end the Cubs’ chances of a deep playoff run.
