Recently I wrote an interesting piece of sql using a cartesian product. The goal was to insert an item into the top-most position in a list given that some of the item positions are fixed. Of course there are commercials on the movies on the three main networks whereas there are no commercials on the cable movies – wait, I hear they are considering placing commercials in them now. Even though I spend a lot per month on just the monthly packages and have what seems like the supreme package I still find tons of stations that say “Not authorized”.
