What a Wonderful World. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. We were so excited to wake up to a couple of inches of snow on Sunday morning. They even cancelled church, so we wrapped up warm and decided to spend some much needed family time at the local park. It was beautiful, especially when the sun poked through the clouds. Then came the snowballs, of course Matthew and Amelia ganged up on me, it always seems to happen that way but I didn't mind a bit. Look - a snow angel! It was so picturesque at the park.

What a Wonderful World. Monday, October 31, 2011. On October 17, 2011, our daughter, Amelia, turned four years old! It is quite amazing to think that four years have already gone by. To help our little one know how many days she had to wait for her special day, a friend/colleague of mine made her a paper chain in her favourite colours pink and purple. Every morning she would cut a ring off, until finally there were no rings left, and that was an exciting day! As usual I took lots of pictures.enjoy!

What a Wonderful World. Friday, April 27, 2012. A Mouse Lived in a Windmill in old Amsterdam! Do you know the song about the mouse that lived in a windmill? What a Wonderful World. Wednesday, September 5, 2012. A Girl and Her Bear. On this particular afternoon, a couple of weeks ago, I was quietly watching Amelia as she snuggled up with Sweetie-Heart whilst watching a movie (a rare quiet moment in our household). My heart melted as I watched her hold her furry friend, even by the way she used him as a pillow. Of course it was a memory I wanted to capture in pictures. What a Wonderful World. Saturday, July 30, 2011. A Summer Evening in the Park. We took Amelia's hula hoops, and some comfy chairs. Matthew had chance to relax a while before everybody came, then he became the BBQ King. There was a great play-set for the children to play on, right next to our sheltered picnic area. What a Wonderful World. Sunday, February 3, 2013. Last September my mum and David arrived for a long visit. I was so excited to see them. Amelia wasted no time in having grandpa play a card game with her, then she snuggled up with her Nana. Don't they look great considering they had been up for more than 24 hours? Just a few days later, mum, Amelia and I drove to meet Auntie Carol and Uncle David who had been visiting other friends in Utah, they had made time in their schedule to visit us in Oregon.
